Have it on in my headphones right now), Sprengjuholin (definitely the most fun show I saw down in Austin... Bands from Iceland know how to party), Gay Blads, and Wild Light. Great music from the start of the party to the end with no dull moments. The open bar wasn't half bad either. Loved the sets from Dead Confederate (just bought the record based on their show – love it. I've gotta second the awesomeness of all the bands at the Sonicbids party, and give a little shout-out to some of MY favorite bands of the day! Sprengjuhollin's "icelandic pop for the masses" was SERIOUS FUN - I couldn't wipe the smile off my face - and The Gay Blades made more noise than I thought 2 people could... and I mean that in the best possible way. Oh, and I can't forget Mt. St Helens Vietnam Band, whose matching vests totally stole the show. Check them out on their current tour with another of my recent faves, Bishop Allen!! Great post, Tess!
